Courses supporting Parents of Newborn Babies will teach you best practices for what to expect in the newborn care courses and how to best support parents, partners, and other caregivers.

Newborn Care Specialists
Newborn Care Specialists cover the areas of (Night Nanny, Baby Nurse, and Maternity Nurse) is someone who specializes in newborn care.
Newborn Care Specialists assist parents in the home for the first few weeks or months of a baby’s life.
It is important to note that a Newborn Care Specialist is not for a Nanny and not a Postpartum Doula and requires special training and education specific to the profession.

Newborn Care?
Parents may consider hiring a Newborn Care Specialist is a non-medical professional who comes into the home when the baby comes home from the hospital. State to state regulations dictates which term is used for this service.
For overnight care, the specialist will review and discuss the day’s activities and care of their new baby to best prepare the plan for good night patterns and practices.
Boston Newborn Care Specialists are experienced/trained and/or have a certification.
Additional certifications include HHAs, CNAs, or LPNs. All also have their CPR and Infant First Aid Certification.
