Offered To Care Providers

For those that meet the requirements, please call for an interview.

At BNC all care providers must pas the BNC exam.  If you have not taken a course, then you must enroll in a class.

You will be an independent contractor which means you will be responsible for negotiating your salary and the times you work.  ( the BNC contract gives suggested salary, hours and tasks)

You will work as a team with other BNC care providers.  That way families will have the support that they need.

All BNC care providers will have business cards and an online presence for families to view (Linked In, etc.)

Only career nannies, Newborn Care Specialists are hired.  (No moonlighting professionals to earn money)

Criteria to work at Boston Newborn Care:

  • Proof of a Newborn Training Course
  • If it is not a NTCA course, you must take Module 1 of the training course.
  • Pass the NTCA test
  • Provide the following:
    • Massachusetts CORI background check
    • Immunization record
    • CPR and Infant First Aid Certification
    • A resume *
    • at least 5 references
    • A linked-In profile *
    • Proof of insurance *
  • You may not have a full time job in addition to working overnights for clients.
